Ginger Hartman, the new head coach for girl’s basketball, is excited to have landed a job in Greenwood.

Hartman attended high school at Fredericksburg High, Texas, and went to college at Sul Ross State University. She is married and has 3 daughters; Madison, Kodi, and Jetta, who all attend Greenwood.

She has been coaching for 20 years and said she chose to be a coach to share the love and enjoyment of basketball.

“Live every day to the fullest because high school goes by quickly, ” she said.

She’s glad to be at Greenwood because she has heard many good things about the community and the people here. Since she has been here, she likes the closeness of the community as a whole.

She wanted to coach to help kids realize their potential and the spread the love that she has of basketball, and to help everyone else love it as well.
