In mid-April, six students competed at the State CTE meet. All six earned awards.

“Our Greenwood students acquitted themselves well during competition,” woodshop teacher Lee Brockman said.

Braden Latham – 1st Place  Woodworking 50 – 70 board feet
Garrett Turner/Ian Kirkes- 1st Place    Woodworking Team  20 – 30 board feet
Ian Kirkes/Garrett Turner – 1st Place  Woodworking Team 30 – 50 Board Feet
Jarod Rose  –  1st Place  Woodworking  2 – 4 Board Feet
Jesse Natividad   – 2nd Place  Wood Turning  2-4 Board Feet
Gabriel Perez  – 2nd Place  Wood Turning Less than 1 Board Foot

 

Their woodshop projects are on display in the high school library.
