Three scholarships were given to Kyle Rimer, Trey Cave, and Hunter Rose. Two were for football at Harden Simmons, the other was given for soccer at McMurry.

Rimer was recognized by McMurry in which he was also given a full-ride scholarship to attend their college.

“I had chosen the school because it was a very nice campus, and I already know a lot of the people,”Rimer said. McMurry was recently a Division I and has now changed to a Division II. In order to be recognized, Rimer played club soccer for eight years in which he won a national championship and is now playing for a semi-professional team.

Hunter Rose and Trey Cave were both recognized by Harden Simmons with full-ride scholarships.

Rose chose this college because, “I felt it was fit for me, and I enjoyed the atmosphere.”

Cave chose this because he, “enjoyed the atmosphere and wanted a national championship.”

Both were happy about this opportunity for the love of the sport.

“Be ready to work harder than you ever have before,” Cave said.
