All last week there was an information booth during both “A” and “B” lunch.

There, students found out how to buy and bring a pair of new “TOMS” to school to help the children who don’t have enough money or struggle to have just a pair of shoes on their feet. This act will help the children to know they can have a sense of security even by little acts. There will be  $5 coupons and a “NO-SHOES” challenge.

Junior Amanda Hightower or senior Tony Samarripa can answer student questions.

These shoes can be purchased at The Ivy Cottage on Big Spring St. in Midland for about $ 50 to $62 depending  on the designs. $50 is for the basic.
